Apply the sorting options on Previous Period, This Period, and Percentage Change to quickly compare past and current engagement metrics (Streams, Shazams, Views, and Videos) for your tracks, albums, collaborators, and credits.

This helps you easily track growth or decline over time, providing valuable insights into the performance trends of your content.

Change

Let's get started 🚀

Navigation

Step 1: Click on the Analytics from the side navigation menu bar.

Step 2: Navigate to the Trends from the top.

Step 3: Select a time period from the dropdown menu (e.g., Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days, etc.) to compare data trends and insights for your selected tracks.

This allows you to analyze performance over your desired period effectively.

Previous Period

This column displays the Total Count of the selected engagement metrics (e.g., Streams, Shazams, Views, or Videos) falling before the selected time period. For example, if the selected time period is 30 days, then this column will reflect the engagement data preceding the last 30 days.

You can click on the Previous Period column to arrange the total count of engagement metrics (e.g., Streams) from before the selected time period in descending order (highest to lowest), making it easier to analyze past performance trends.

When "Lifetime" is selected as the time period, it shows all the engagement data (e.g., total number of streams) collected so far. Since there’s no earlier period to compare, the "Previous Period" column stays empty in this case. The lifetime total is shown only in the "This Period" column, as it includes all the data up to now.

Step 1: Click on the PREVIOUS PERIOD to arrange the total count of engagement metrics (e.g., Streams) from before the selected time period in descending order (highest to lowest).

Step 2: Click on the down caret button (⌄) to arrange the engagement data (lowest to highest)

Step 3: Click on the up caret button (^) to arrange the engagement data (highest to lowest).

This Period

This column displays the “total count” of selected engagement metrics (e.g., Streams, Shazams, Views, or Videos) for your selected time period (e.g., this month, this year). For example, if the selected time period is 30 days, then this column will reflect the engagement data accumulated during those 30 days.

You can click on the This Period column to arrange the total count of engagement metrics (e.g., Streams) accumulated during the selected time period in descending order (highest to lowest).

Step 1: Click on THIS PERIOD to arrange the total count of engagement metrics ( e.g., streams) for the selected time period in descending order (highest to lowest).

Step 2: Click on the down caret button (⌄) to arrange the engagement data (lowest to highest).

Step 3: Click on the up caret button (^) to arrange the engagement data (highest to lowest).

Change

The "Change" column represents the percentage growth or decline in engagement data between the "Previous Period" and "This Period." Sorting by either the previous or current period will update this column, showing how much the streams, shazam, views, or videos metrics have changed over time.

You can click on the Change column to sort the percentage difference between the "Previous Period" and "This Period" in descending order (Highest to Lowest).

Step 1: Click on the CHANGE to sort the percentage difference between the "Previous Period" and "This Period" in descending order (Highest to Lowest)

Step 2: Click on the down caret button (⌄) to sort the percentage difference between the "Previous Period" and "This Period" in ascending order (Lowest to Highest)

Step 3: Click on the up caret button (^) to sort the percentage difference between the "Previous Period" and "This Period" in descending order (Highest to Lowest)
